濕疹戰士Esther #WeRecovered

她是WeDerm首輪濕疹訓練營的參加者Esther。 還記得第一次跟她見面,正是差不多一年前的時候,她穿著長袖運動服(當時還是夏天),整體給人感覺低調。她告訴我於數月前已停用類固醇,現正經歷類固醇戒斷反應(TSW),跟其他參加者一樣都希望找到長遠控制濕疹的方法。 像Esther這樣比較嚴重的個案,作為教練,除了適時給她實用的建議和明確的下一步之外,於WeDerm我們更著重的是以同行者的身分支持她邁向康復。由於自己亦是濕疹過來人,於輔導期間,我倆經常交流日常餐飲選擇,她亦曾向我介紹無麩質零食牌子,好讓我再分享給其他參加者。 接下來的三個月,我們定期進行輔導。她把WeDerm的食物清單列印出,非常堅毅地進行了超過一個月的食療及積極在家做運動。於食物引進期間(戒斷後再從新引進某些food groups),她發現自己對麩質、牛奶及某些堅果有延緩性敏感反應,自此改變飲食習慣。身上的濕疹便慢慢地以她身體復原的速度康復。 前天重遇她,她穿著黑色短袖衫,滿有時尚感和自信的走過來。(深色衣物對於濕疹患者是一項挑戰!)皮膚看起來沒有濕疹的痕跡。她跟我說,現在亦有堅持戒口和每週做4-5次中高強度的運動。 一年來的堅持和努力換來的是健康的身體和皮膚。WeDerm非常高興能夠成為她康復路上的夥伴並見證她一年來經過「整合治療」後的變化。希望她的經歷能夠鼓勵身邊的患者,繼續奮鬥。 共勉之。 *所有圖片均由患者自己提供並經她同意上載。
